Return policies / Restocking fees

I am going to get the toshiba 5205 s705, and I'm 99% sure I'll like it...

microcenter and compusa have them instock, yet they have a 15% restocking fee...
circuitcity has them out of stock, and has a 0% restocking fee...

The guys at circuitcity said they have no clue when they will get more in stock, cause the warehouse doesn't even have any.

So my question is, would you recommend waiting for that 0% restocking fee? I've never had a laptop that I've used as my sole computer... Always had a desktop, so I dunno if this one is perfect for me, but I think it is...

However, if I see that something on it sucks, then I don't wanna know that I'm losing almost $400 because of it.

toshiba.com has a 15% restocking fee as well 🙁

Circuitcity is your best option. Too bad, the CC in your area doesn't have one. CC near my area have them instock (in Burlington, MA). Where are you living? BTW, are you sure that Toshiba charge you the restocking fee? I know that IBM, Dell, and Compaq have total satisfaction garanty (so you can just call to get the money back if you don't like or if there is something wrong about it). Better check with Toshiba again.
