I dont see the rationale behind that 90 degree mounted Mobo. Just seems like it would result in a mess of wiring coming out of the top of the case instead of being hidden behind it.

I don't really see the point either, but it seems to becomes a Silverstone trademark.

I like to set stuff on top of my case and hide the wires in the back.

You can still do that with their other 90 degree mounted cases since there is a grill over that and the cables go out the back...

The main advantage of the 90 degrees is better air cooling basically because hot air rises.

Hmmm they make some cool looking cases... I'm tired of cases targeted towards 13 year old acne filled kids

I might be in the market for a used SILVERSTONE PS05B

Hrm. Having used my FT02 for a while now, that thing sounds full of win. Whether or not that ends up being the case remains to be seen of course, as the sneak peek was quite short. Oh well.

After being an owner of 3 silverstone cases over the years I have found it hard to upgrade from my tj09 for the last almost 4 years. This may be the one. I was at first sceptical of the 90 degree mounting but I can see how the graphics cards would be very happy to vent upwards if you have a card that vents out the back. The airflow looks logical and the overall design seems interesting. I looked at the raven but thought it looked too much like a mitsubishi car then a computer case. Very cool!

been waiting for another Temjin to come out...this looks like a TJ07 with a rotated mobo though....I was hoping for an improvement on the TJ10 design..something closer to the Corsair 800D idea with the pass throughs, but that monolithic design with a door on the front to hide the drives....and aluminum instead of steel

Before I started watching the video I was crossing my fingers for rounded edges and 90 degree mounting. I love Silverstone cases so much. I like the hard drive system as well.

The biggest problem I had with the Fortress 2 was that the PSU was mounted sideways as well (which didn't make much sense to me), but this case changed that as well.

I just hope the price will be under $300. If that's true, and the case doesn't have any major quirks... bye bye FT02 (already :().

Do they make group meetings for computer chassis addiction?

I cannot see the video but it sounds like another 90 mounted case (aka Raven)?

It improves cooling without making a lot of racket! THAT is the big deal my friends! There's enough room built in at the top to accommodate your cables except perhaps a DVI-VGA adapter but who uses those - honestly?!

A BIG version of the FT-02 that can fit 2 PSU, 4 GTX480 and SR-2 dual socket board with room to spare is what's (currently) needed. My current Lian Li PC80 can do it but its looks remind me an IBM netfinity server bolted down to the floor and it's fairly noisy with the fans running unless they are all the way down on low.

Yes it is

Are you saying it actually works (i.e., vouching for them), or were you trying to be sarcastic / towing the company's line but my sarcasm meter is broken?

I saw the Raven's unique design some months ago only, and wondered if it actually makes a difference, hence my question to you.

Yes it does work easily matching the HAF 932 for "it works out of the box" simplicity. :)

Ah, thank you, it is worth considering then when I decide to upgrade to a full tower. I'm currently in a mid tower (CM 690), and was thinking of what good full towers (for the future, not right now) would be an excellent step up, and the design of the Raven's mobo mounting left me puzzled if it was actually functional or did what it was advertised to do.
