Return Of The Joker - Did anyone see the DVD version? #2

Since the 1st thread seems to have disappeared, here's another one. Does anyone know if the DVD version of this video is uncut? By uncut I mean all the violence/blood was left in, not replaced with kiddie material. Someone said before that the DVD version is cut, so does that mean that Warner Bros. doesn't plan on releasing this movie uncut?

I got the DVD version.. it is definitely cut... i think the only uncut version ever released were the pre-release preview versions... kinda sucks... i read reports on what was cut, and it would have made the story 'better'

That really sucks! I saw the VHS version today and was very annoyed at what they did to the flashback scene. The uncut version was so much better. Oh well, maybe WB will consider releasing the uncut version. Damn them!

It's been censored for violence. Apparently they did it because the disc was originally coming out a little after the Colorado shooting.

Some people got a hold of the pre-release version and digitized it. I've heard they like chatting on the usual IRC channels 😉

That's all I have to say about that.

DAMMIT! I just got the DVD and now I find out they've watered it down?

What is the world coming too that we can't freely distribute gore and violence?

I am saddened.
