My credit card company prints their address as the return address on the envelopes that send with billing. So, their address (the same address) is on the envelope has the same address on it 2x. I'm confused, are any of your bill envelopes like that too?

it is to make sure no matter what it gets sent to them.

If for some reason doesn't get to the window mailing address the return address is the same so it gets there no matter what.

Make sense?

hypothetically, if you forgot a stamp, they'd return it to the original sender (as indicated by the upper right hand corner of the envelope). In your case, it'd be sent to the credit card company either way seeing as it's double addressed.

If that's true, why can't I just do that myself and save on postage? Suppose I want to send a letter to my Dad: I'd write his address on the front/center of the envelope and also in the return address area. Then I'd put it in the mailbox without a stamp. Wouldn't the post office return it to the (phony) return address marked "insufficient postage"?
