Anyone old enough to remember the old McDonald's restaurant buildings, with the two 'golden arches' on either side of the building? Like this one...

There's a new one being built here in Paso Robles....right down the street from an existing one. Can only hope they'll close the existing one....

Retro lives!

There is one near me. It's a museum now, though...

I also heard they're turning another one of them into an actual resturant that I go to occasionally.

They had one here which they tore down 1-2 years later and replaced with a newer traditional McD's.

Probably because people want to eat inside with a/c instead of outside.

They built a new one like that in front of the Minneapolis regional training center a couple-few years ago, south of 79th St on Nicollet Ave in Bloomington.

The building looks good, but it doesn't make me hunger for their cheap food any more than usual.

Oddly though, I wouldn't mind an Oreo McFlurry right about now.

There's one near downtown san jose that my family and I used to go to often when we was little tikes. It reminds me of them little hamburgers with mustard and ketchup...mmmm (BK can f-off :D). Long time since I've been there, if its still there that is.

There has been one of those here in Tulsa for years. I think it's about 10 years old if I remember correctly.

Nothing wrong with BK, IMHO, 'cept their fries. But they redeem themselves by offering onion rings instead. Their version of the Big Mac is much tastier to me than the original, and new Chicken Whopper is killer!

....'cept they're not...quite....onion rings! Sorta the 'milk-fed veal' equivalent. Made from onion mush, or something...formed into 'rings'...:|

When I lived in Arvada, CO there was an old school McDonalds just North of 58th on Ralston road. In 1988 or so they opened a new one on 58th just West of Ralston road.

They turned the old McDonalds buidling into a music store where the high school students bought all of their band instruments. ;)

I wonder if it's still standing?

I have one down the street from me. I guess it's the new style. I also have the "50's mcdonalds" that's all about the 50's.
