What is a good and reliable place to buy Retro Air Jordan's? I'm looking for the Air Jordan Retro XII mid woman's shoe. Thanks!

My favourite pair ever were the Off White-Military Blue Air Jordan IV (released in 1989)... I loved those shoes.

I'd love to have a 'retro' pair of these but I won't buy Nike in principal now though.

The original Jordans were the shiz. They were my fav skate shoe back in the day, if only because the old original Nike outlet store on MLK in Portland (at the time -- mid-late 80s -- the only Nike outlet in the country) kept selling the overstock for years after the shoes were discontinued for $30/pair and I burned through a pair every month.

Those were the Jordan XIs. Those are one of my favorites...that, and the white and blue 3s

I guarantee you they're going to re-re-release the XIs as well as the other retros they've already released. That is $$$ just waiting to happen for Nike. I mean they'd be stupid not to do it.

I had a choice between getting a pair of the Reebok pumps and the Air Jordan VI. I chose the Reebok pumps because I thought that for the Jordans, that plastic piece near the Achilles' tendon would scrape against it. It would have been better if I had bought the Jordans, especially if I had been playing basketball.

UpTempoAir is a good place to buy older shoes. They have retro Jordans!

Yes, be very careful about buying off ebay. Most of the shoes are ripoffs. You can tell if you look at them really good. They don't look Nike quality.

what size do you need? if you're looking for the same design as the men's jordans, try to find kid sizes. i wear a size six in women's but about a 4.5 in kids.

cheaper too.
