Retro game

My brother was over yesterday and we fired up the NES and had a grand time beating the crap out of each other in Battletoads and River City Ransom. This has made me nastolgic, so I need some advice on what game to play tonight:

Choices:

Diabo
DiabloII (hardcore)
Final Fantasy II
Final Fantasy VII
Arena: The Elder Scrolls I

I ended up playing arena after installing dosbox and while I love the spell creator in that game, the graphics are so choppy that I got a headache after half an hour.

I've beaten FFVII more than five times from the start so I don't think I could do it again, but if you aren't at that point yet its always fun to play that. There's a guide online to make the game more difficult by running away from all random encounters and beating it at the lowest possible character level. That could be interesting, but I was more of the level up for 3 hours on the worldmap and own everything with matra magic sort of player. Levling up early game and killing the snake in the chocobo ranch area to get beta early on is a fun thing to try too.
