That was a little old harbor seal. This seal was big. Until I read the article, I had no idea that any species could reach 15ft in length!!!

Most wild animals can be dangerour in the right situation. I was chased by a deer once. Well... followed, but I think that's because i didn't panic and run, but I could tell it was pissed off.

Another animal we think of as cute and friendly is the dolphin/porpoise. I saw a documantary. Those guys are not something to play around with. Some of them appear to actually be malevolent, and commit murders, rapes, and even gang rapes and murders. Same with most primates.

Animals rock.

killer whales like playing with seals... play with em to death😛

ah, i thought she died from blood loss or something. i thought all divers had a big knife??? well atleast thats what your supposed to have with you at all times just in case you get caught on something. my friend has one of those knives.. big and scary, i'm sure you could do pretty decent damage to a seal.

If she was scuba diving, yes she sould've had a knife, but she was only snorkeling and probably just looking below the surface of the water to watch the seals...
