Retarded Question, Is there a bit for a dremel to make holes in metal?

Making a blow whole and I need something to get the holes for the screws for the fan.

Use the reinforced bits or just the standard brown disc that comes with your dremmel No: 429 & 409. I think the standard ones is better but more frandgile (use the reinforced ones to make curved surfaces faster) The reinforced ones is thicker so they don't cut so good. well that's what I think! try both to see what u think is better.

If you really want to make the holes
for the fan mounting screws using a dremel
tool, I would suggest one of the small
ball shaped grinding stones they make.
It would be a little difficult but you could do it.

It would be fairly easy to slip and mark up the case.

Because of the high speed a regular drill bit would
easily over heat due to friction.

I strongly suggest a low speed drill.

I think you guys are missing the point of HamHam's
question.....

I think it would be very hard to make the holes
for the mounting screws of the fan with a cutting wheel.

Yeah i agree he is talking about the screw holes. I think drememl makes a thing that can be used with drill bits.
