Why are you flashing your card with a homemade BIOS if you didn't read the whole thread to see what it does and how it works?

Do I understand correctly that with the new BIOS there is no difference between a GT and an Ultra? Until you overclock where a card that was an Ultra originally will likely go higher?

your card will register as a GT with the new bios. (thats ok dont worry about that)

> GT cards will OC farther
> Ultra cards will OC a little farther
> Ultra cards will be much faster at the same clock due to faster mem timings.
> both cards will idle with a lower temp (Ultra more so)

this is why i nick named the file "GTU", it the best of both worlds for both cards
