current system is the 2.4C and the craze then was the 2.4@3.2; anyways, it is that time again with conroe, so why not

I would like to use dual dvi's off a silent asus crossfire setup. is this possible? or does crossfire only work on one monitor? >_>

i see two dvi ports and the dongle cable .. ?_?

sorry for the newbness.

No, man. Neither Crossfire or SLI can do it. You can always temporarily disable it if you want to use 2 monitors but unfortunately, its a limitation.

This has probably been explained a thousand times, but while we already have a thread here can someone explain to me why SLI/Crossfire setups can't use dual monitors? Seems kind of.... silly. Logic tells me that 2 cards should be able to run 4 monitors. Obviously I'm wrong. I love my dual setup and wouldn't give it up for anything 🙂

You can use multiple monitors, but you'd have to disable SLI\Crossfire to use them all. It's a pain, but just enable SLI\Crossfire before you start your game up and you're good to go. I'm sure there is or soon will be a way to automatically do it.
