retaining mouse wheel settings in XP

everytime i reboot, i lose my mouse wheel setting - scroll page at time. It always reverts to 'line at a time' . Is there a trick to holding this setting?

Are the mouse drivers from XP or the mfr? Could be you need new ones.

the mouse is a MS IntelliPoint Explorer. I am using the drivers that came with XP - another MS porducet

Just Curious, Do you have any TweakUI installed if so check that..
Change the setting too one page at a time... I think TwaekUI will override the systems settings.
If that don't work install MS's Drivers and software that came with the mouse.
