retaining clips..

Anyone know of a place that sells retaining clips? I just broke mine and I broke the "thing" off the socket as well taking off my fop38.

I wouldn't be worrying about retaining clips right now. Sounds like you destroyed your socket. Hopefully it's an AMD or P4 system, I would go get a heatsink with the 4 bolts/screws and use that.
 
I just bought the sk6, would rather use it then spend more money on another heatsink....I guess I'll just keep it "ghetto" rigged for the time being. Upgrading my comp as soon as the kt266a's start hitting the streets.
