I was thinking about purchasing an OEM 2.0A, is there any downside of buying OEMs, specificaly with overclocking??

The only downside is the length of the warranty if you ever need to use it.

According to Intel employees who post here there is no difference in the manufacturing process so an OEM P4A is as likely to overclock well as a retail Northwood. How much of a price difference are we talking about?

Price difference is about $100 cheaper. Besides its better to get the OEM because you can get a better HS/F. I did just that! My Rigs :D
