Does anyone know what the retail price of gainward's water cooled coolfx 6800 ultra is? I've only seen it once, which was on ebay for $850. So does anyone know the msrp and where you can buy this card?

BFG has a 6800ultra w/ a water cooling block

Outpost.com has it available for special order, it's certainly cheaper than the Gainward.

edit

In stock at Chumbo.com w/ free shipping, same price as outpost

As far as I know CoolFX only cools the video card, might as well get a full featured water cooling solution with one of the above cards

I offered those guys $700 for that card back in November 2004. They shot me down even though they had been trying to sell it for over a month already. What's going to happen is they'll sit on it so long it will be worth nothing, and they'll lose all their money on it anyway.
When you can go to Chumbo and buy the BFG with water block for $600 any day of the week, or get two GTs that are much faster for the $850, I gotta wonder what these guys are thinking.

Not to mention Gainward has been sold, so warranty may not work, and if it does you have to ship to China.

yeah, go 6800gt sli. i mean, there is 1 on ebay at 879.99 or 849.99(forgot waht) but it's notr worth it.

That is, IMHO, the king of all video cards though. I know it's a crappy deal, but a 6800U with it's own H20 kit is plenty tough.

It's stuff like this, 3d1, and SLI that has me on such a nVidia jag lately. A R300 with more pipes isn't exactly an "extreme" part.
