Retail is SOOO lame

I got one of their 20% off coupons so I figured I'd get myself a new set of cookware. Mine is from IKEA, 10 years old, and sucks. Anyway they had a really nice 10-pc set from Calphalon for 580. I figured 20% off, plus they throw in a $50 gift card, can't go wrong right? Bah... I got home and checked online, same thing for 400 shipped and includes 4 bonus pieces. I hate retail. So I returned it half an hour later. The end.

Nothing will ever beat the 2 for 1 revere cookware sets that you could get for $50 from Buy America a few years ago.

well I was there anyway, and it only took 15 minutes to drive back and complete the return. the returns cashier was crafty, she noticed the $50 gift card on the receipt and asked for it back. I was gonna keep it if she didn't ask

yeah the bonus stuff is good... 10" nonstick pan w/glass cover, 5-qt mixing bowl, tongs, pasta fork.
