Retail CPU Fan noise level question?

Anyone can approximate how loud the Intel retail fans are? Or knows their dba offhand? 20's, 30's? I'm getting a new chip OEM with a 31dba fan and wondering if it will be louder than my slot 1 retail fan right now.
