What stepping are you guys getting as of late? And what kind of warranty is offered?

Since the OEM versions seem to be the old "C0" steppings I'm a little worried and since mobies basically don't work I'm going to go desktop..

My retail box off newegg was a C0 Stepping. Got it from newegg.com a few months ago. Oh well.

Why not grab the 512k version? That way you are guaranteed CG stepping and I will personally take the 200mhz default clockspeed over another 512k of cache anyday.

it's not guaranteed you'll get a CG with the newcastles... there are still C0's floating around... :)

Interesting, I haven't seen a C0 newcastle 3200+ yet, got a link to someone who has one with a pic of it?

Which one? I'm worried about multis... If I can get both chips to 2500Mhz obviously the xtra 512 will be the faster by more than 5% since they are within 5% at 2.0...higher scaling increases this gap.

PLEASE stop referring to it as a stepping. C0 and CG are revisions. Read a document once in a while.
