Retail 2700+ Cheaper then OEM

I was thinking of purchasing a 2700+ from new egg and i noticed that it was cheaper to buy the retail then the oem??? Why is that does the retial overclock? I know that voids the warranty.

just get the 2100+ & overclock it to 2700+ speeds.

if you must have the 2700+, i don't think there will be an o/c diff between retail & OEM. get the cheaper one!

well i was hoping to get the 333 fbs i wont be getting the chip for a little while and i might wait until the athlon 64 comes out so it will be even cheaper. Thanks for your help iam glad there is no difference. I just cant see why retail whould be cheaper here is the link see for self.

Ugh! Im so sick of hearing this already. Why not get the 2700 and clock it to 3400 or 3600? Maybe some people dont want to oc...
