Actually the price just dropped within the las week, so this isnt a bad deal. I just bought one for this price. It overclocks to 3200+ on stock cooling no problem

Awsome value

Oh, and don't be a dick, just because you don;t think it's a hotdeal dirtrat doesnt mean you have to threadcrap retard.

true. it's been within $10 of this price for about 2 months now. and since one cannot "miss out" on this deal, i don't consider it hot. it's a good CPU at a good price, but how's that make it a "Hot Deal"? besides, this CPU has plenty of other threads, so what's the point of reposting it?

pretty mature for a platinum member. yet another example that the number of posts you have has little correlation with IQ/maturity/civility/etc.

<<what's a hot deal for a motherboard for this processor? >>
Any kt600 mobo from newegg for around 70$. Or the biostar m7ncd from compgeeks for $50.

Just because this is "normal price" doesn't mean its not a hot deal. The price of processors is always dropping so I doubt it has been this price for more than a week. I think this is an amazing price/performance ratio and is therefore a terrific deal in my opinion.

"Normal Price" hot deals are in this forum ALL THE TIME. For instance, I just bought some regular priced beef jerky that was linked to by a popular beef jerky thread in this forum. A good deal is a good deal.

A cheap deal (but still normal prices) on beef jerky is not something that you can easily find at a site like www.pricewatch.com where as cheap deals (but still normal prices) on computer components can be found. If you think this is a hot deal then I have over 10,000 other hot deals I should post here..

If it's an unbelievable deal then fine, post it.. But a $5 price drop is not unbelievable so I don't believe this thread belongs here especially when there are resellers selling it cheaper and even have an excellent reputation (such as googlegear).

I thought this was the Hot Deal forum...did I miss the Unbelievable Deal portion of the Anandtech Forums......;)

Fine, then I'll start posting EVERY product that newegg sells on here.. Would that make you happy? Since newegg sells it (even though there are places with cheaper prices and similar/better reviews) it must belong in the hot deals forum. I'll start right away. Why don't you help me because it will take quite some time to get all the "Hot Deals" posted.. Ok?

Last time I checked this was a HOT DEAL forum. I purchased this CPU months ago from Newegg for this price. Again I say it's NOT a Hot deal! Excellent CPU for a good price though. It's not a Threadcrap Junior when the post doesn't even belong here and its not a hot deal. This is a regular price.

Must you thread crap? People making the effort to post hot deals, even those they perceive as hot, does not give you the right to crap in people's threads. If you are not interested, DON'T CLICK.

What is wrong with everyone lately?

This site is overrun by little wankers.

How could you possibly have so little life that you need to criticize someone's deal because you don't think it's "hot" enough?

I wish they'd start inventing some better video games to keep the little peckers occupied and off the internet.
