<< Got in on that KB deal. Now.. What the hell am I going to do with 15 controllers and 15 VMU's? ;)

A question about the VMU's. You guys talk about filling them up. Is there any way to erase them once they're filled?

Woo! I was thinking I was No.1, I bought 4 DCs, 9 controllers, 3 VMU. while I will keep 4 sets. It's my bottom line. I wish I could get more DC ;)

I am wondering about This

How does that VGA cable work? do you need that box? I would be interested in getting that VGA cable if it comes right out of the DC to the VGA. How does the sound work? I didn't see how that seems to plug into a Reciever or anything....

I got the Double Power adapter at EB the other day. (Only $17.99, but it was the only one I saw. If you can find it, good luck.)

Now I need a memory card cable (same as the ones on some of the 3rd party memory cards.) Anyone know of a cheap place to get one?

<< Rumble....rod? Is that a kind of fishing rod? >>

Yes, made by MadCatz (sorry, DC version not shown on MC website anymore, but Xbox version looks identical...with a different color scheme, of course)

I've looked everywhere for a Dreamcast Console and it seems they are impossible to get. No local store (Sams Club, KMart, Best Buy, etc..) has them in stock or will restock them - and Amazon.com / BestBuy.com / etc is constantly out of stock. Is there any place that has some for sale as of now (for around $50 that isn't used..)? Please let me know..

<< so guys , is the rumble pack or tremor pack whatever they call it , worth it? >>

I never saw an answer to this -- is the Tremor Pack worth getting? I found one at my local EB today for $5 so I bought it but haven't opened it yet. Obviously $5 is cheap enough that it's not a big deal but if it's not going to be used, there's no sense in buying it in the first place!

I also bought my jump/tremor pack at EB for $5.00. IMHO it's ok. I mean it gets anoying after awhile.

BTW I picked up GT2 for the PS1 for my bleemcast. Man, it's pretty cool. The graphics are way better than on PS1. The only drawback is that you have use a seprate VMU to save Bleemcast games because of the format. I recomend that everyone should have this in their library.

Just FYI, there is a very cool shooter for DC called REZ. It's kind of like a cross between mixing your own techno music and the Gibson scenes from the Hackers movie. It is not available in the US, but keep an eye out for it.

BillRubin,

Open the tremor pack -- games are a lot more fun with it. I was skeptical at first, and bought only one, then we started fighting over who got the controller with the tremor pack, so I went and bought another two!

I saw a new one at the Funcoland in Wheaton, IL, on Sunday. But I wouldn't stress too much about getting a used one. IIRC Funcoland/SoftwareEtc/Gamespot will sell you a year warranty on used consoles for something like $10.

Anyone been able to score Silent Scope at Outpost for 9.90? When I've checked, it's been 29.99. Anyone know where to get this cheaper?

Bump this baby to the top. Nobody puts this baby on the bottom.. Or is it.. "Nobody puts baby in the corner"? Obscure reference to a lame 80's dance movie. ;)

Dirty Dancing. Patrick Swayze, Jennifer Grey. Johnny (Swayze) directs this comment to Baby's (Grey) parents, specifically Baby's Dad, played by Jerry Orbach.
Sucky flick. Blech!

Orbach rul3z j00 as Det. Lennie Briscoe, tho.

Yeah.. I know.. I didn't want to make it too easy on you. Jennifer Gray shouldn't have had her nose fixed. Now she looks like everyone else.

DC related.. I got my confirmation on the KB deal for the controller, vmu and game. I can't wait to see what we get.

I ordered the JC Penny controllers for $9.99 and wanted to keep them as backups in case I needed them later. Because of this, I always like to keep things mint or new including the packaging. Some Jemoche at Penny's thought it would be a good idea to tape both ends of the box shut with one piece of strapping tape. It made it impossible to open the boxes without destroying them.. What an idiot! I called Penny's back and told them I want replacements that aren't taped up. I guess they are going to ship out a couple to a local store (about a mile away from me), and I'll go swap them there.

Question about the controllers.. I'm not positive, but do all new Sega branded controllers come with those little styrofoam pieces covering the connector that plugs into the console? I'm wondering because the controller I got from Beastly Buy had this and the one from Penny's did not. That would be something if Penny's was selling me open box controllers, but taping them up to send to me...

Anyway..

I was at radio shack and they had on clearance some generic controlers. I'm at work now and I can't remember which it was, but it was only 7.99. It's got 6 buttons (instead of four) as well as the triggers and an "auto" button. It's quite a bit bigger than the original Sega controller, so those of you with bigger hands might want to check them out. I'm personally liked the Sega controllers but I bought two for back controllers or for when other people come over. Plus, now I have four controllers for NFL Blitz 2k1!

Now the only problem is trying to find time to play all these games:

Crazy Taxi
NFL BLitz 2K1
NBA 2K1
NFL 2K1
MLB 2K2
Virtua Tennis
Sonic Adventure
Tomb Raider
THPS 1 & 2
Test Drive: V-Rally
Tokyo XR
GT2 w/ Bleemcast
18 Wheeler
Marvel vs. Capcom 2
Hydro Thunder
Powerstone
PSOv2

Plus, I can't stop playing Dark Age of Camelot!!! I guess if I put that away I'd have much more time for DC.
