What do you put your resume in when you go to a job interview? There are these black and blue colored binders at Target that I have seen that have a clear front cover that work extremely well for a few papers (such as for a resume). What do you use when you go in? If you are a hiring manager, what do you prefer?

Lets get an interesting discussion going. :)

I have always taken mine loose leaf on that fancy resume paper. I think any extra binding would annoy people because they may want to attach (e.g. stapler or paper clip) your resume to other paper, stash it in a folder, or whatever and that binding book thing would make it more bulky.

As someone who does interviews, I typically get Word docs emailed to me from our admin that I print out. Fancy binders? Bleh...

get a nice interview folder. they make nice leather ones specifically for interviews...

it's also useful for carrying around directions, other papers you have, and collecting people's business cards neatly, and any other papers they give you.

you should be able to find one at your local staples /officemax/such store

email it to them in pdf. if you must take it, just get a simple, plain, black folder to put it in...

Yeah, I do have a nice leather binder that I take on business. However, I always used (and recommend to friends/family) what I described above. They fit very nicely in my business leather binder. I'm just curious as to what other people do. :)

I usually just keep it in my backpack as a backup. The interviewers have always had a copy in hand when I go in for an interview.
