Resume question...

Orsorum

Lifer
I'm starting to do some research with a professor this quarter... we've just started reading right now, regarding noncommutative geometry. It's paid research, bout five hours a week.

Wondering if this is something I should list on my resume, and if so, how.

Thanks!

Only list it on your resume if it's something pertaining to the job field you're applying for. Otherwise it would be irrelevent.

The only other thing I would use it for would be if you have limited job experience. That would be something you can add to your resume to give you more work experience.

Looks very nice. Always remember to format it for 2 pages, but since you don't have 2 full pages, balance it so it only runs to about half of the second page.... So add spaces accordingly.

By the way, I used to do this for a living and help people with their resumes...the sad thing was I was only 18 when I did it and I was working for the Tennessee Dept of Labor in their Workforce Development stuff... 😛

This is it as it stands right now.

A friend of mine reviewed my original resume and barfed...she sent me a template that most recruiting firms use and that HR departments love. Check out mine at my site

probably...my 1st version was bad 😀

It's taken me a few days to condense mine into that format but it looks great now.

Cool. Yeah, I need to do an overhaul of it... I've been using that same basic format since I was 12 or so.
