If I'm still in school, under the education section I've created, is it common practice to write the date on which I expect to graduate?

University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC May, 2010
Bachelor of Applied Science

Thanks.

Yeah, you could even put in "expected graduation: 2010" but yes you should have it on there.

What you have is fine, but make sure it is on there because they will ALWAYS want to see when you're graduating so they know what year you are.

YES! If you put it down there without an expected graduation date and they think you've already got your bachelors, then background check you and find out you don't, you could lose the offer. What is actually a simple question for you can look deliberately deceptive to HR people who deal with people all the time who try to hide their lack of degree.

Okay, thanks everyone. Also, do you think there's any point in putting my current GPA if I've only gone through one term? (It's decent, 3.90 equivalent)

Yeah, definitely put that on there. It's a good GPA, may get you a few extra points. It won't be the deciding criteria though.
