Resume paper... what do you recommend?

I have this perfect job for me that I want to apply for... and am at the point where I need to actually print it and send it. So, the problem is, I need some recommendations of resume paper. Just any ideas about color, type, etc.

I heard white is just the best, or a light tan color. Otherwise when you try to stick out, you just look like an idiot.

Just print it on a decent laser printer, regular white stationary.

I used a white heavy stock paper.

So something like a light grey shade or light yellowish (ivory) is a no-go?

i think the ivory look good, and print it on a laser printer so it loook nice.

Print it on a laser...it will get photocopied a dozen times anyway...and if they are a big company they will try to scan it in, OCR it and put it into a database.

I used ivory linen paper. Or 100% cotton paper. It's expensive. I'm not sure how much it is anymore. Or you could go with a light blue color or light grey.
