Resume Help

I am looking for a new job and have a question on making a resume. I have been with the same company for 18 years in various positions. I have moved up the in company only to move back down by choice. I have worked at different locations in various positions but I have been at my current location for 12 years in various positions.

So my questions are:

How far back do I go in my previous job experience? Just the 12 years in the various positions I held at my current location or list all locations and job titles for the entire 18 years?

If I did list the entire 18 years it would be at least a 2 page resume and I read a couple years ago that you should keep your resume to one page.

1 page rule applies to new graduates and people with limited work experience. You need a CV and 2 pages is perfectly acceptable for CVs. At least in Europe they are.

My uncle is a bigwig CEO/CFO level guy, and his resume is multiple pages with a description of each of his major positions.

My CV is 2 pages long, is common in graduate students with research experience in the USA
