I had a resume floating around and someone picked it up.. it was a year old, I have a new resume, totally different. How bad would it be if they got a new resume on the day of the interview ?

I don't think it'll be a huge issue as long as the employers and the dates and length of employment are the same.

If the changes are on the positive side, then I wouldn't mind as an interviewer. But if the changes are say, correcting your gpa from 4.0 or 3.0 or changing what was accomplished at internship A, then it'll be bad.

if the changes are additions, and not corrections as stated by "lord snailz" i don't see a problem with it.

I'd say good. Most of the time they had my resume in Monster.com format (bad).

It's customary to bring an updated resume to an interview (several copies if more than one person will be interviewing you).
