According to that consumer specialist guy on the show, X-Bos is the most advanced video gaming system with the most advanced online video gaming system, the PS2 the one with the most games, and the Gamecube, the one with the year's biggest blockbusters.

I think the first two is pretty much generally agreed upon, but what do you guys think about the statement about the Gamecube. Also, if you note the chart, the top 3 games all belong to the Gamecube, and 7 of the top 10 games are Gamecbe games! Whaddya think?

Console systems are all about the games. The Gamecube has GOOD games, even though the overall selection is smaller. Sure, there are bad titles in the Gamecube lineup, but look at hot sellers like Metroid Prime and Mario Sunshine. Both of these titles are hot sellers for the system, because they are good games.

People need to stop looking at the console system itself as being the "benchmark" for what kinds of games can come from it. Games are what sell systems, not the hardware.
