Results from my trek to the 1st floor cafeteria

1) The danish from the vending machine is no longer sitting out for anyone to grab. That was a long shot anyway.

2) A sock works rather well for propping the security door between the residence and cafeteria open.

3) You may obtain a pepsi by pushing the "Pepsi" logo after depositing 65 cents into the vending machine with a big "Pepsi" logo on the front.

My dorm only carries coke products. I didn't take any money down with me because I didn't want to buy anything, I just wanted to see if the free danish was still there.

I always hated that the cafeteria closed at 11:00 when I was in the dorms.

mine closed at midnight.

of course, the door to my wing of the dorm locked at 15 til midnight so we'd have to walk 150 yards to the other end of the dorm and then back.

of course, the door to my wing of the dorm locked at 15 til midnight so we'd have to walk 150 yards to the other end of the dorm and then back.

You should've propped it open with a socks. Jerzees cotton crew socks, they ain't just for wearin'!

Well, when ours *is* open we have a buffet that usually pretty good. And we don't have to cook our own food or do dishes. And just about everyone that lives here is here on scholarship so its free to us. So...poo on you.

the door starts to scream, its annoying. and UTPD would eventually show up. we'd usually just call someone to let us back in.

We have a cook that cooks our food...the freshmen do the dishes...The scholarship comment is irrelevant; however, it's cheaper to live in the house than it is to live in the dorms. And it doesn't negate the fact that I can go get something to eat downstairs right now if I want to.

Yes, and if I'm going to stay awake through church (by no fault of the pastor, I haven't gone to bed yet) and lunch with my parents, that sounds about right.
