She is one person.
She came from an older time period, before the Commies took power. The extended family was in the upper class of Shanghai.
She was the one who told me about the saying tian shang jiu tou niao, di xia hubei lao. This saying's interpretation and meaning varies by the person and his background. But as I know it, one meaning is to express contempt for the people of Hubei, which includes their habit of indeed eating whatever the fuck catches their eye.

Not once has she ever described any exotic dish. The most exotic thing is that she knows how to kill chickens, because the city estate before it got parceled up had room for the family to have chickens as pets.

What is more evident is the sweet and starch tooth. She doesn't mind eating snacks like Bugles.

Pizza (large) $22
Burger + fries $16
Salad $11

$49

$4 delivery fee
$1 web fee
$5 tax
$7 tip

$66

I must have added a 2-liter of something $4.

That's not GH or DD, they do their own deliveries in town, and are less than a mile away.

(Edit: to add, that's where all my mining money went, practically.)

Salad.....that must of been a mistake?:p

Guangzhou is a pretty big place. At about 2800 sq mi, its has more area than the state of Delaware. This is not an uncommon occurrence. "Cities" in China can often be that big, which most Americans would not be used to.

Some of the cat dealing are in the Qingping area. This area is what has been featured in select news articles.

So yeah, it's not common but enough people can sustain a market in the few locales that want cat meat in the south.

DiGiorno, 5 bucks. Gas to and from the store, electric to keep the freezer running, LP to cook it, no tax on groceries, no add-on fees. No where near 70 bucks.

I can order a extra large three topping pizza for 25 inc tax. I just drive over to pick it up, only about 2km away.

$22 for a pizza isn't bad if we're talking better than Domino's, etc. Costco pizza is good...for the price. Just depends on what your priorities are ;)

I can get 4 pizzas for that, toss 'em in the freezer and cook'em when I'm ready. One trip instead of four.

Just don't ever read the ingredients list or the nutrition per serving label and you might even get to enjoy eating them!

It would very likely be healthier (and would certainly have more fiber!) to spread sauce and cheese on some cardboard.... might taste better too.

wished costco still had the combo pizza.
$10 for a huge pizza

I think Sam's does? Or maybe they have the meat lover's. Its not as good but its not awful and it similarly cheap.

I'm sure your $25 pizza is so much better nutritionally and I'm sure the ingredient list is just so much different (I'm guessing you're one of those morons that thinks just because they label something a scientific name that suddenly makes it horrible "chemical"). Talk about needing an eye roll. You foodie assholes are some of the biggest fucking dishonest argument making asswipes there are.

The truth is you're buying frozen pizzas too just like everyone else. I don't know why people try copping this asinine asshole food snob shit on forums when I guarantee that if people went through your trash they'd see fast food wrappers, junkiest of junk food, and a whole host of other shit whilst you cop your holier than thou shit.

We allow wide latitude in OT, but your language bolded above, over pizza prefernces no less, is just too much, especially combined with your just previous post, which is too pointedly irl personal. We received multiple complaints. They were justified.

I can't remember the last time I bought a frozen pizza. I either make it myself (haven't in a while) or order from a local place.
