Restricted airflow in PC 65b

I just took a good look at my lili 65b and its airflow is very restricted especially at the front with the foam filter blocking my fans and at the back with the small ventilation "slits" blocking my rear fan. are there any remedies for this?

Cut the rear slits into a circular hole. This helped my PC-61 out a bit. Restrict your computer to 2 harddrives in the bottom bay. Purchase a LianLi 5.25" bay peripheral that has space for 3 hdd and 1 80mm fan. This will open up your options for better spread out intake. ie, the exhaust and psu will be able to pull cool air from the bottom and top/mid front.

Aha! someone else has exactly the same dilema as I! The Lian-Li filter isn't blocking the airflow, the front bezel is. I have been tinkering with the idea of getting a drill press and making those 200 holes a little larger.

Tiamat's advice is okay soso sort of if, you have not already put your 5.25" drive bays to use.

For that case, the main weakness is the exhaust. You want to get rid of the heat. No matter how great your intake is, if your exhaust doesnt do its job, you will get bad performance. If you open up the intake and do nothing for your exhaust, you may get worse results.

In the end, Open up your exhaust first. Get a good powersupply with a 120mm fan. Then, remove the dust filter. The dust filter cuts your airflow in half. Then, cut an additional 80mm fan exhaust right beneath the other rear fan. Your problems should be solved by this point, if not already solved earlier.
