Restoring an SSD using Windows Home Server to another SSD?

Is this ok to do? I've seen that you shouldn't image an SSD from a mechanical drive image, how about SSD to SSD?

It's an image from a Cosrsair P3-128 to a Crucial M4 128GB.

I'm not using WHS with an SSD, I'm using it to store my PC backups/images for all my computers, so I would use WHS to restore my current image onto my new SSD.

Has anyone successfully done this using WHS? Just looking for actual feedback from someone that's done it, I'm sure someone here has!

You should be fine, as its not system based.
All WHS is doing is having a copy of the OS files on the Hardrive. So its basically just a copy for copy. It does not change harddisk properties.

You can try it, worst that can happen is you have to just keep old hardrive in system to restore back to. But since i've not seen anyone else complain about it being a problem online..
