Restore game saves for Far Cry ?

I had to do a fresh install of XP, actually, it's a completely new pc. I was about half way through Far Cry and don't want to lose my progress and have to restart the whole game! I wasn't sure what to save so before I formatted my disk I save the entire folder I had Far Cry installed in. I need to know how to get my saves from my backup to the new install?

Help will be greatly appreciated :beer:

Just backup the contents of your installation directory such as C:\Program Files\Far Cry\Profiles\player\default\savegames 🙂

Your save games are actually in C:\Program Files\Far Cry\Profiles\Player\ "name" \savegames however in the new install you will not have any player profiles setup so easiest way is to copy the whole profile folder into the new install of far cry.

Thanks guys :thumbsup: I just copied the whole "profiles" folder and it worked great!
