Wish there were more restaurants in our area that were on the site but that's still a heck of a deal.

Anyone ever have a problem with these GCs when trying to use them at the restaurant?

Picked up a $100 dollar GC for $8. Figured if can't hurt if I'm out just $8. I will check w/ the front desk to verify that it works before plopping my ass down.

UPDATE

After printing the GC, I noticed . . .

Special Instructions: Valid with a $200 minimum purchase. Excludes alcohol. 18% gratuity added to pre-discounted check amount.

NO where on the previous pages did it indicate the $200 dollars minimum purchase, only Valid with a minimum purchase of 2 entrees. Excludes alcohol. 18% gratuity added to pre-discounted check amount.

Is it possible those are special circumstances with the specific restaurant you chose and not this deal in general?

EDIT

I just noticed on mine, when you do a search for local restaurants on their site, they list the rules that apply to that restaurant specifically. So a $200 min order is not required for all restaurants

FYI: Even though none of mine that I ordered said "Only (1) coupon per visit" on the web page, all 6 that I printed all said that on the actual GC - so don't plan on stacking these.

edit: In fact, here is the text that appears on all the ones I printed:

GC Conditions

Most of the restaurants I looked at had a 2 party $35 minimum, which still seems pretty reasonable to me. Basically it turns a $40 check into a $15 check. I got a year membership to the "Restaurant of the Month Club" as a gift for $24. It's not a free lunch, but it's a good deal.

i got 2 x 4 x $25 for 2 local restaurants, both said eat in only, and minimum $35, that cost me $16. Wish they allowed take out, but to pay $10 or so for a $35 meal is nothing something to sniff at

When you search for a zip code or whatever it lists the "special instructions" right below the "add to cart" button, and as far as I can tell it's on every single restaurant. It's not hidden or anything, I don't think you looked very hard jEnus.

I picked up 2 $25 coupons. I'm with OptimisTech, turns a ~$35-45 tab into $10-20. No complaints there.

Or log in to the site and access your account and print your certificate. They're generally good for a year.

I believe the wording I saw was something along the lines of at least a year. But good to know that some can be longer.

How long is this 80%off good for?

I got a couple $25. cards from the Coke Rewards points a couple mths back. Another thing the coupon states, is that's it's for Dine-In only. (no carry out) But the restaurant I went to let us carry out on the 2nd trip there.

Yup, tried and was told they no longer accepted the coupons, the restaurant owner was supposed to get the coupons removed, and I couldn't get a refund or exchange of the purchased coupons. This was a small hole in the wall and I haven't tried getting coupons again since then.

They give refunds for coupons that aren't accepted. If not, your credit card company will.
