Restaurant.com - $25 gift certificate for $2

in for 20. Literally.

Even with the 18% gratuity most places add in it's still a great deal. Half the restaurants in my area that accept it are ones my gf has been asking me to take her to.

MrMatt, if you've never gotten one of these before, just a word of caution on getting 20 of them...

They'll have a minimum purchase amount that you have to spend (like spend $50 and get $25 off). They also will expire... 1 year after the issue date if I remember correctly.

So it's more like you're buying half off coupons than gift certificates.

Certainly better than paying full price, but just in case you didn't read the details...

I did this before, all were happily accepted by the restaurants we went to. Depending on the restaurants this time I may pick up another one or two.

Thanks OP!

thanks 🙂 My gf and I usually spend around the minimum anyway, so I don't foresee it being a problem. I'm going to add this to her Valentine's gift

Or, instead of going that path, you can use code: HEART at Restaurant.com to get the same $25 certificate for $2, plus a free $15 FTD Floral Reward. Expires 2/14/10.

Funny story. In late December, I decided to go to a restaurant that USED to be on restaurant.com but I realized that they were delisted. I wasn't sure if I could still use my certificate so I called the restaurant up. They essentially told me that Restaurant.com was a pretty bad company (seriously, they told me that) and that their relationship had been dissolved. But then they told me they would still honor my gift certificate because they want to take care of their customers first!

So before you buy, you should call and make sure the restaurant you want to go to will still accept gift certificates!
