Restaurant/bar/attraction recommendations for Miami Beach

I'm going down to Miami next week with some friends and I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good bars or restaurants. I'm not really into the club scene, but if anyone could suggest some more laid back type places that would be great. If there are any other things I should see while I'm there, I'd love to know about that too. Thanks!

Most tourists go down Ocean Drive and end up at the Clevelander...the locals hang out on Washington Ave.

Go to Tootsies on 441 and Ives Dairy road...you'll love the scenery if you know what I mean
