restarting problem

my computer wont restart. I plugged the reset sw cable where they wanted me to put it. I also made sure the power switch cable is in the right position. It will shut down but it wont restart. I will have to hit the reset button. It wont automatically restart.

A8V deluxe socket 939
AMD 3000
GeForce FX 5700Le
