Restarting Computer when playing

Posted a while back about my restarting PC that got temporarily resolved by resetting drivers to 9.5. Now, whenever I play some COD4, it randomly restarts at any point of the game, sometimes after 30 minutes, totally random. I tried playing other games such as Anno 1404 which seems more demanding than COD4 (since i get lower frames than cod) but it doesn't restart one bit. I'm thinking it might be driver compatibility already or there's just something wrong with the game. I need your inputs on this guys.

My specs are below, processor is overclocked to 3.0ghz at stock voltages, video card is rarely overclocked. I run it on stock most of the time. Temps are fine at the 40s always.

Thanks a lot, hope you can shed some light on this. Happy Gaming!

I had the same problem when I turned on memory acceleration in my motherboard settings. Do you have any memory speed improvement type settings turned on in your mobo bios?

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. Sorry, haven't reinstalled the game yet. And this also happens in CoD: WaW. Maybe I should try adjusting voltages by a bit and check again. Oh and I'm not sure about memory acceleration, my Mobo is a P5Q Vanilla, you guys have any idea if it has that?

Have you stress tested your CPU lately? It might need more voltage.

Increased the voltage by one notch and it doesn't hang up or restart anymore. I forgot that I had to increase the voltage when the overclock resetted. How stupid of me, thanks anyway!
