I am running a Windows 2000 Advanced Server network....all workstations are on Win2k. How can I restart a workstation from the server??? Thanks in advance!

Install the support tools from the server CD, it has a script/program to remotly start a computer over the network.

any other way? I'm at home right now, and am inside the server via Terminal Services....no way to do without that? Thanks for the quick response

you need the shutdown command utility ...

it is found inside the w2k resource kit. If you have win2k3 server, it comes by default.

you can reboot a machine without a problem if the client is joined to the domain
