Restart Issue

A friend of mine emailed me the following message. Apparently he plugged in his laptop to the charger, got a blue screen, and then got the following when he tried to restart the system. It might make more sense if I actually looked at it myself but until then maybe one of you can help.

"The last attempt to restart the system from its previous location failed. Attempt to restart again?"

[My two options are listed below]

"Delete restoration data and proceed to system boot menu"
"Continue with system restart"

Yeah I've seen this before.

"Delete restoration data and proceed to system boot menu" is the option you need. It can happen on laptops with Quickplay [HP] when Hibernation is enabled, although I've seen it on others [albeit much rarer]. Deleting the restore point will wipe the Hibernate data but nothing else, it's perfectly safe
