Forza 2 recently resulted in a damaged DVD drive and a dying Xbox 360. So Im getting a replacement...however I want to replace Dirt and Forza - the two games that have been damaged by the DVD drive and do not work any more. I bought the console from Curry's and the console from Game (UK).

At the moment Curry refuse to return the game and I was wondering who has a legal responsibility to replace the game (if anyone?)

Thanks a lot

I have read the U.K. and most of europe have better consumer protection laws than here in the U.S. Don't they have to replace the product by law, for 2 years there? or is that just hardware?

Anyways, I know here, even Walmart and Target will replace the game for 90 days, if you bring it back with a receipt. Refunds are a different matter though.

I'm just looking for a replacement or store credit at best. Strange - maybe I should just send a formal email and see what they say this time...
