Because Dan Brown wrote a book about it and it became the national #1 best seller... so it has to be.

Descriptions of the artwork in the book are accurate. I checked them out. And yes, it is fiction, but it's entertaining.

This has been hacked to death in the many earlier DaVinci Code threads, but it is fiction that is supposed to be based on facts. His FACTS are wrong.
In any event I found the book to be extremely overrated, but mildly entertaining.

Seriously, people need to stop trying to prove or disprove the Da Vinci Code. It's a work of fiction. Stop giving them free publicity. And yes, I'm talking to you, Christians.
