Alright, so I was looking for possible causes, about why my Oblivion crashes with ATi's Catalyst 6.8 and 6.9, but is 100% stable with 6.7 and earlier versions. So I submitted a ticket to ATi, and they responded with the following:
So, I look at the first link provided, and eventually see this:
Then I told myself "why not, let's verify that".
Here's a picture I took: http://img523.imageshack.us/img523/3475/sharingpo5.jpg
As you can see, my GPU is sharing the same number with my Audio card (18).
The thing is, my Audio card is not integrated. If I am not mistaken, ATi says that non-integrated Audio cards (adapters, which aren't integrated by definition I think) sharing the same number would be normal.
I just want to be sure there is nothing wrong here. Is there ?
Thanks for your help.
Greetings!
Based on our experience, games issues are usually due to improper system configurations, driver issues, faulty hardware or a known issue with the game and the hardware or drivers that you are using.
First ensure your system meets the minimum requirements of the game and that you have any patches from the game vendor installed.
If your computer meets all of the system requirements, please check our Knowledge Base and the release notes of the driver you are using to see if there are any known issues or solutions for the game you are playing. If you are unable to find information on the specific problem you are having in our Knowledge Base, please check with the software vendor for any known issues or problems. If the problem persists, review the full details for trouble shooting game related issues at the link provided below:

If these suggestions don't help to resolve your issues, please respond to the ticket and one of our qualified support representatives will assist you. To respond to this ticket you must visit http://support.ati.com and login to My Support.
Thank you for choosing ATI!

Resources used by the video card should also be considered and checked.
Windows 2000/XP
Try checking System Properties->Hardware Tab->Device Manager. When in the Device Manager click on ?View? in the menu options and select view "Resources by type". The main display will change, look for and expand the Interrupt Request (IRQ). Look within the list for the ATI graphics product and check whether it is sharing a number with any of the other devices. Integrated devices such as USB or Firewire (1394) controllers and Network or Audio adapters that are sharing would be considered normal. In addition to this, you may see a device listed as ?ACPI IRQ Holder for PCI steering? which is normal as well. Any other device that is sharing the same PCI number should be moved to another PCI slot in your computer if possible.
Then I told myself "why not, let's verify that".
