Hi all. I'm in the process of creating a site and I've got some basic knowledge of the tools needed to make a decent skeleton out of it, but I want to flesh it out more. I've been reading up on some of the graphics programs and web programming languages out there, but (I think you'll agree with me here) most of the online tutorials out there are crap. I'm sure there are some GREAT ones out there, but I haven't yet found many while sifting through the poop. Anyway, I was wondering if you more experienced site developers could point me in the direction of great resources (tutorials, physical books, etc) for the following:

- Photoshop or Fireworks or Paint Shop Pro (either one)
- Illustrator or Freehand (either one)
- PHP
- mySQL or other database to interact with PHP

I've got the ideas, now the trick is getting those ideas onto the page --er, onto to the web. :D

Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

Thanks for the links! :)

Any other resources, especially for the graphics programs (PS, etc)? Perhaps some physical books that might be worth buying?
