http://www.snipehunters.com/drivers/

I set up this page mostly for myself, I've put up a link to MobileMod4 which will modify CATs to work with your laptop and also put up pre-modified drivers in RAR format for download. Also some useful utilities like i8kfan and speedswitchxp which I find to be invaluable.

Thanks, I just upgraded my video drivers on my M10!

I don't know if it has done any benefit, but one thing I noticed is now my card shows up as a 'Mobile Radeon 9600' instead of 'Radeon M10' like before.

Mind if I post your site in the VoodooPC boards?
I heard modded drivers aren't that reliable and/or missing features from real mobile drivers... is that true? How are they so far?

Well I ended up uninstalling them, because it was doing some weird thing. Like chopping every couple of seconds...ended up getting a score of 5500 in 3dmark01se so thats no good. But now, even with the older drivers its still doing this weird chopping thing, its not like low fps, its just every 2 secs it freezes for a split second and its really annoying...any ideas? :p

Actually so far these are the best drivers I've tried for my radeon 9000 mobility
fixed the problem of games minimizing on their own. Everything else is seems fine too

I've been using modded drivers ever since someone figured out how to mod them for use with mobile chipsets. They've been great! It takes OEMs forever or even not at all when it comes to updating their drivers. This way, everything stays current. Bug fixes for certain and games and programs and such. Everything runs great on my Radeon 9000 mobile chipset.

Post all you want ;)
Modded drivers are fine, they're the exact same actually, they just have the inf file changed so that Windows/ATI allows you to install them.

when modding the drivers using mobile mod 4... do you have to mod the control pnael software too? Or does the desktop version of the control panel just work on mobility gpus?

IGP340M here in a Compaq Presario 1510T; I just downloaded the Catalyst 3.10's and modded them; thus far, they seem to be working.
