Resolutions. Quick Question.

Hi.
Im i right in asuming that 1280x1024 is a 5:4 resolution, while 1024x768 is a 4:3 resolution?
If so, is there somewhere that lists all of the 5:4 resolutions. Cos im running a TFT, native is 1280x1024, and if/when i need to run a game at a lower resolution that native, i want it at a "proper" res, and not a res that`ll have one of its lengths stretched a bit.

Thanks in advance.

Can calculate the resolutions. Just take width you want x 4 / 5 get the height for the 5:4 resolutions

width x 3 / 4 = height of 4:3 resolutions.

So 1024x820 would be a 5:4 res or close actually 819.2
800x640 is another 5:4

So whats the next one down from 1280x1024.
Cos my system is struggling in X2 at 1152xsomething in the more complex systems.

If your native resolution is 1280 x 1024 then you're going to get some sort of scaling artifacts regardless of what resolution or ratio you run at.

Try to run at exactly 1/4 of that resolution to minimize the problem, in this case 640 x 512.
