You can if you move further away from your monitor. ;)

Seriously, lower resolutions look blurrier because there isn't as much resolution. You might get better results using driver scaling rather than letting your monitor handle the scaling, but you can't rightly make a lower resolution look as good as a higher one, at least not without increasing the viewing distance until you can't see the difference.

can someone answer me a quick question. when im running stock fan speed. after playing crysis or any game for about an hour my temps get to be around 68c. is that 2 hot and should i boost my fan speed?

56c idle - 68ish full load

Can't say for sure without knowing what hardware you are refering to specificly, but I highly doubt it is an issue.

No, because that's fundamentally impossible. What you can do is minimize the difference by using a better scaler and/or adjusting the sharpness settings.

Also higher resolution displays with a tight pixel pitch (e.g. 2560x1600) will inherently interpolate better than low resolution displays (e.g. 1680x1050), simply because there are more sampling points.

lol 68C load on an HIS 4850 Turbo is not even sweating. Those things can handle 90C, although the fan speed would need to be pretty high to help deal with that sort of temperature.
