I'm one the verge of buying a replacement. My old Compaq 15" has got to go.

Just because more is better in an American sort of way, I've been considering a used

22" Mitsubishi 2060u NF. Please respond to an old newbie......:)

I can live with that. :D

Its a toss up between a new 19" or a high end, used 22". I got the space
and I'm not ready for dual monitors........Yet. I think the 22 will win out.

2048x1536... oh yeah, that was the resolution my friend's monitor can do. It's a surplused MRI display, and man is it ever pretty. I would say go for the 22". Not only will you get a lot more space to multitask with, but most monitors that size are built to take abuse and last forever. My friend's monitor (a Hitachi something-or-other) is probably 10 years old and it looks just as beautiful as ever, and it shows no sign of wear and tear.

Trust me, the 22" may be expensive at first but for how long it'll last the thing will pay for itself.

And besides, I like playing Tribes 1 in 1600x1200 resolution at 85Hz. :p

you can simutaneously talk to underage females, view their webcams, look at porn, watch porn movies, and continue your coding work for apple.
