Resolution of TVout?

Im doing caps from the TVout of one PC and capturing to a 2nd PC (using pinnacle studio 8).

What is the native resolution of TVout? I want to capture it in that exact resolution for the source video then resize it for the web. (NTSC)

well it should be outputting for a television?

should be 640x480.

that sounds like a really inefficient way of capturing...why???

PC gaming footage.

EXACT resolution of NTSC tv-out is

NTSC TV-out is always 480i. For full 480 lines capture from an analog source use 640x480 @ 29.970 fps. S-video and Composite (rca) carry the same resolution.
