Resolution changes after power down/up (dual monitor) question

Problem: Upon fresh boot, my dual monitors both come up as 1024X786, which is fine for LCD monitor #1, but 2nd monitor's native resolition is 1280x1024(I think).

Am running XP pro (with all service packs), Catalyst 3.1 driver, Radeon 8500LE 68mb using DVI & analog ports, Hydravision by ATI, VPR Matrix 17 lcd" & NEC 1545 15" lcd.
